Sauris is one of the most fascinating realities of Friuli Venezia Giulia, rich in naturalistic and cultural aspects: called Zahre in the local dialect, a Germanic language of the southern Bavarian group which is still spoken here. This town can be seen as an “island” in the middle of the mountains: located at an altitude of 1,200 meters, it was difficult to reach until the 1950s and remained isolated during the winter months. For these reasons, it is not easy to set up a local production network: thanks to their experience and persistence, the locals have managed this task, developing unique and valuable products. What today’s companies have in common is the passion of their manufacturers, the pursuit of a balance between innovation and tradition, and between sustainability and enhancing the territory. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
