The TV series \u201cIl Silenzio dell’Acqua\u201d follows police officers Luisa Ferrari and Andrea Baldini at grips with the unsolved mysteries in the fictional village of Castel Marciano. Castel Marciano in reality corresponds to Duino, Sistiana and Muggia, towns at the antipodes of Trieste and overlooking the sea. In fact, water is the narrative thread of the itinerary, taking us along this stretch of the Adriatic \u201cfrom coast to coast\u201d. The route starts from Duino, a village located between the southern slope of Mount Ermada and the Regional Nature Reserve, and renowned for the ruins of the ancient castle, known for the legend of the White Lady, as well as the new castle inhabited by the Princes of Thurn and Taxis. From Duino to Sistiana take the Rilke Path, named after the famous author Reiner Maria Rilke: one of the most evocative panoramic paths on the Gulf of Trieste, which can be traveled on foot or by bike by the most experts! Muggia is another location, an elegant town a few kilometres from Slovenia and marks the beginning of the Parenzana, one of the most famous European cycle paths. To admire the coast directly from the sea, take the boat in Sistiana which passes in front of Miramare Castle and drops you off on the Rive in Trieste. After visiting the town centre, you can continue by boat to Muggia. Bike lovers can load their bicycles on board the vessel and continue the tour! <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
