Trieste, a place where literature permeates every corner of the city. Here, writers such as Italo Svevo, James Joyce, Umberto Saba, Virgilio Giotti, Scipio Slataper, Bobi (Roberto) Bazlen, Giani Stuparich, Carlo Stuparich, Silvio Benco lived and worked, attended the literary caf\u00e9s and left their mark.
