Laboratorio Artistico Legnostile

The tradition of using wood is a craft that has been passed on for centuries and still represents the living identity of Sauris. The Plozzer brothers, who founded the “Legnostile Artistic Workshop” in 1992, are among the local wood-workers. Their work is the result of experience passed down from generation to generation and renewed skills with which to create wooden masks and sculptures of undeniable artistic beauty. Saurian masterpieces can be admired both in the characteristic stone and wooden houses, which were built using log construction technology, and at local events such as “Arte nel Borgo”.
