Success for “Flowers above hell” airing on Rai 1

Great success for the first episodes of the new thriller TV series “Flowers Above Hell – The Cases of Teresa Battaglia” set in the enchanting mountain locations of our Friuli Venezia Giulia.

The story starts from a small mountain village. Apparent paradise that hides silences and unmentionable secrets among its alleys. A killer who leaves behind a trail of blood to defend a group of children ignored and mistreated by those who should protect them. Teresa Battaglia (Elena Sofia Ricci) is an experienced profiler in her late sixties who has arrived from the city along with her small team, into which the young Inspector Massimo Marini (Giuseppe Spata) has just settled, running from himself and his past.

The town is recognizable in Tarvisio with its main square, church, alleys and incredible views. The forests are the Tarvisio Forest (the largest in Italy) and the mountains in the background are the snow-capped peaks of the Julian Alps. Last spring’s open-air filming of the movie took place in parts of the region such as: Malborghetto, Camporosso, Val Saisera, Lago del Predil, Coccau, Pontebba and Udine.

The series can be seen on Rai play: don’t miss this beautiful opportunity to admire the unspoiled nature of Friuli Venezia Giulia!
