The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard 2

After the great success of the first film, the sequel takes up the story four years later and bodyguard Michael Bryce continues his friendship with murderer Darius Kincaid as they embark on a new adventure. In Italy, a city with international charm was chosen: Trieste. The summer residence of Antonio Banderas character actually corresponds to Miramare Castle and the marine reserve. Miramare Castle is a white building with a view of the sea and was built by Archduke Maximilian von Habsburg in 1860. Maximilian had a park built next to the castle with a variety of exotic plants. In 2020 Artribune magazine, the most important Italian cultural magazine, crowned Miramare as the “best Italian museum”. In addition, an electric motorboat was used for the scene of the escape from the castle so as not to disturb the local fauna and not to pollute the protected marine area. This reserve, entrusted to the WWF, was the first marine park established in Italy. Visitors can discover the biodiversity of the Gulf of Trieste at the Immersive Museum of the Marine Protected Area (BioMa), housed in the former stables.
